Good morning to all mommy-cows out there such as I.  I’m currently at the office, in my cubicle when I had this urge to blog.  Oh! well, it is still early anyway and my boss is out.  I just like to share to you my babies latest pix (Oh! my they grow so fast!)… and their new hobby…PAINTING!  Yeah, they already consumed their first sketchpad and they’re now on their second one.

And so it goes, that last week I went home tired and drained from a whole days work making workplans and designing system architectures for my newly-assigned project and an upgrade in one of my server apps. My princess kissed me and show me her sketchpad…”it’s a rainbow, Mommy, to make you smile.” and not to be outdone - my superboy lovingly hugged me and show me his sunshine.  Kids, that is their special gift.  Inner-happiness…that makes you smile and takes away all your stresses and problems!  Thank you God for my two-shares!

Madagascar Beanies for your child’s safari themed-party

My good friend, Alecs, is planning her child’s first birthday party.  Barney came to mind, GI Joe, Spongebob & Patrick, until she told me, “Hey what about Safari Themed?”.  Which, I beamed “Yes of course!”.  And so I browse the net for the perfect safari animals that I could use as model and then Madagascar came to view.  I was so excited, remembering how funny Marty, Melman and Alex are.  Add to that Gloria and the cute Penguins that constantly making as gag in laughters.  And thus is the story behind these new sets of beanie hats, I’m super sure your kiddos will love.  I know I have two-tots who keeps in giggling in delight when I was making these beanies.

Barney & Friends

Hi folks… busy, busy, busy! I know it’s been quite since I last updated my “beanie” blog.  Two updates. First, on being a UNIX admin - we had a major implemention in our production servers that requires us to be focused and countless sleepless nights and second, on being a MOM - two tots constantly clinged to both of my arms, and I mean it literally.  Perhaps, they miss “mamee” and thus, almost always are beside me whenever, they find me at home.  And so the story goes, that one day while we are watching the lovable purple dinosaur, Barney and his equally lovable niece and nephews namely Baby Bop, BJ and Riff. My little Bianca lovingly asked me if I can make her that green thing dino into a beanie for her.  And as was expected, my Kuya Basti asked in a split second if he could have the BJ too.  Hmmm… oh well drawing board here I come.  Might as well include the orange dino,Riff, himself to complete the team.  The finish product?! Angry Birds Mask

Now the new trend for birthday party has arrived.  Most of us mommies and daddies too nowadays celebrate our kids party with a theme.  Either its from superheroes, from movies, from games… yes games even!  You all know we have been making the beanie hats for a long time now, and then one mom (bless her) requested for a combined beanie hats and mask ala ANGRY BIRDS.  At first, I thought a mask… how in heavens are we going to conceptualize it.  But come as it gets, wallla… an ANGRY BIRDS mask was put in the drawing board and then into the fabric it goes.  The kids had a blast I was told.  See for yourself!!!

SpongeBob and the Gang…

Well thats SpongeBob for you singing to cheer up a friend.  That much less deserves him a spot in our childrens heart as they lovingly followed SpongeBob and his friends in their adventure in Bikini Bottom.  Huh, what a funny name for a place! Anyway, still my little gullible angels kept asking me to “please please mamee, i want sandy!” bellowed my lovely Bianca and seconded by my adorable Kuya Basti “me too me too, i want SpongeBob!!!”… and whose mother can resists such requests from lovable angels when paired with tons of hugs and kisses?! well not me for sure.  And so, to pacify them… I’ve design the beanies for the Bikini Bottom crew, or well atleast for the 3 of them… the others I guess can follow.

Hello Kitty

Who amongst us does not know Hello Kitty?! Well this is one super cute character that everybody loves, from little girl to adults (just like me)! When my little Bianca was born, from her mittens, to boots, to the little things a baby can have…it’s marked with Hello Kitty and my own…from my phone theme to its wallpaper, well Hello Kitty is there.  It’s good that I’m into branded bags, otherwise, I might have sported a hello kitty bag too! Which is a big NO, NO in the corporate world I am livin.  Anyways, enough about me and more about her… presenting her own beanie line… the HELLO KITTY Collection!!! Enjoy!!!

Meet Blu & Jewel from RIO

We have just watched RIO, a very funny movie that I highly recommend to be watched with the entire family.  The story revolved around Blu & Jewel. Blu is a rare species of macaw residing in Minnesota and owned by Alice. Until a bird doctor came to their place to find him and they were informed that along with Blu, there was another female macaw, Jewel, in South America, and that they are the last of their kind.  They must bring the two birds together to ensure their species will not die and together travels to Rio to be with her. 

When we got home, my little darling Basti asked me happily if I could make him a Blu beanie and of course, my princess Bianca seconded “me too mommy!” and so with the help of my brother, we conceptualize RIO beanie hats.  Current designs are Blu and Jewel just yet but I will try to squeeze in the other characters too.  Here’s a sneak peak of the RIO beanie hats that my babies love and I’m 100% sure, your babies will love too!!!

BIRDs hold revenge against the PIGs?

Didn’t know that birds have suicidal tendencies and that they are arch enemies of the pigs! hmmm, this might make your eyebrow raise but yes there’s such a thing, well atleast in the game world.  There’s this nice game originally from iTouch, although now they can be played too via psp and your average pc.  It’s called the ANGRY BIRDs.  It’s the story about the pigs eating the eggs of the birds and in revenge…decided to kill the pigs by shooting themselves via slingshot.  It’s really funny and at times, will make you mad especially if you can’t penetrate to the pig’s wall.  That is the new inspiration of our latest line of beanie hats…The ANGRY BIRD series.  Come see and meet this new cuteys and re-live your adventure!!!

From crocodile to monster…the beanie heads lives on!

It has been a very busy week.  Just got back from my AIX administration training from IBM but that doesn’t stop me and my team from making sure that your wish has been granted.

I received this request from a lovable mommie that his son needs to have a crocodile beanie head for his play (coincidentally is today - Yey! Goodluck!) so I asked my creative bro to design a crocs beanie head for the kid and this is the finish product!!! Kinda crocky huh!

We’ll the fun stuff doesn’t end there.  I met this nice young lady, a student from STI. Southwoods and decided that she wanted to be unique.  True to her form, she ordered a customized beanie “a nameless black monster”! She is the one who conceptualized the specs of this monster and whalla…this is the end result…hmmmm I wonder if she’s preparing to scare the kids come this halloween!

Minion madness!!!

 For the 101th times, we watched “Despicable Me” last night.  Not that I’m complaining because everytime we watched it, it was a blast.  In addition to my two tots sitting by the bed and giving me and their dad a quiet time atlast. 

It may be Gru who made our heart twist in a knot and Vector, who inspite of being the villain, caused us tons of giggles, but it was the minions who blew us away.  With their funny wits and hilarious antics, their dance move with the boogie-botz and their “what?” scene with the tissue rolls all over the place always made me laugh out loud.  I can’t say what part of the muvee is my favorite but most of them are with the minions in the scenes.
